Margaret Stawowy
Margaret Stawowy never tires of the forms and colors of mushrooms and fungi. One memorable day, she was out at Pt. Reyes National Seashore’s Estero Trail, where she saw scores of Amanita muscaria pushing up under pine trees. The vivid colors and whimsy of the scene remain with her many years later.
